My Trip Living with the Xingu Indians

My visit with the Xingu Indians was filled with excitement, cultural upheaval and history.  The Xingu people, one of the oldest Indian tribe, live in a preserved national park in Brazil. Xingu peoples are the people of Brazil living near the river Xingu. They have many similarities of cultures despite their distinctive ethnologies. These people represent 15 tribes and have four groups of indigenous language, but all of them have the same rituals and perform similar ceremonies. Continue reading “Xingu Indians of Brazil”
